The
WelcomHeritage Solang Valley Resort at Solang Valley,
Himachal Pradesh offers twenty rooms in two blocks of
eight and twelve. The rooms are tastefully furnished
with local weaves and artistry, against the warmth and
comfort of wooden parquet flooring. Whether
you have come seeking serenity, gaiety or adventure,
Manali has all of it to give you. At 1.926 metres on the
northern edge of the Kullu valley, it is as popular with
honeymooners as with intrepid mountaineers and left-over
hippies from the 60's. And
the location, ambience and resident comforts of this
resort cannot fail to please any and all visitors. |

Area
Information |
|
Manali
town is about 40 km north of Kullu, and lies at
the intersection of some of the main trade and
transport routes of the area. The main route
connects Himachal, via the Rohtang and Baralacha
passes, to Ladakh. Other secondary routes go to
Lahaul, Spiti, Rupshu and Tibet.
The
Beas river runs along Manali, with its deodar and
pine forests and fruit orchards. The unbroken view
of high snowcapped Himalayan peaks makes for a
spectacular sight all year round.
