WelcomHeritage Khimsar,
roughly in between Jodhpur and Bikaner, is on the edge
of the Thar desert and subject to the extremes of the
desert climes. The Fort itself though is a green haven
that keeps the inhospitable desert at bay.
WelcomHeritage Khimsar
is also well placed for runs to other areas of interest
in the vicinity like the Jain Temples at Osian, Nagaur
Fort, and the Rat Temple at Deshnoke, all on the way to
Bikaner 150 km away. Jeep safaris, horse or camel
expeditions can also be made to the Blackbuck Reserve.
