Nathuakhan
is a beautiful hamlet in Nainital District of
Uttaranchal. It lies at an altitude of 6365 ft above sea
level and is an ideal place for trekking. The place is
around 30 km from Bhowali and 40 km from Nainital.
Its scenic places and calm atmosphere is the main
tourist attraction. It has a peaceful landscape of small
mountains, verdant valleys and rhododendron forests.
Nathuakhan can be accessed by local buses and taxies
from Bhowali and Kathgodam. Kathgodam Railway Station
and Pant Nagar Airport are the nearest railhead and
airport respectively. One of the most beautiful place
known as Bob’s Place, in the Kumaon region is also
located in Nathuakhan.

of 14 kms from Mukteshwar, 33 kms from Bhowali & 44 kms

play, tuck into generous helpings of delicious food,
just like at home. In summer, you can pick and relish
fresh fruit of the trees. There are numerous easy walks,
and treks for more adventure. Twenty minutes and you are
in the tranquil tree shaded courtyard of an isolated
pracheen temple, half an hour and you are by the cool,
gurgling water of the stream. |
